Privacy Policy

BETA-B is the legal owner and operator of Get2x2. This policy describes how we process a portrait, what we keep after an order, and when we delete it. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for orders. Paddle processes the payment. We do not store your full card number.

Photo processing

Background removal, face measurement, cropping, and the size, light, and sharpness checks run in your browser, on your device. The original portrait is not uploaded to make those edits. We do not sell portraits, use them to train a model, or retouch the face. We do not publish finished photos.

A vision model may look at the preview

Before payment, a smaller copy of the finished preview — about 512 pixels on the long side, with camera location data removed — may be sent to a vision model. It looks for glasses, shadows, expression, and similar problems, and returns a pass, fail, or uncertain note. The provider is OpenAI or Google, chosen in our configuration, and only when an API key is set. We do not keep that copy. The notes are stored with the order for the same period as the order record so a reviewer can see them. If the model does not run, you can still pay, and that paid order is placed in the human review queue.

Sending a photo from your phone

On a computer, the photo is taken on a phone and sent back. The picture is uploaded so that computer can pick it up. It is kept for at most 15 minutes, and deleted as soon as the computer downloads it. The link is a random code, is not listed for search engines, and is not sent to analytics. Camera location data is removed before the file is stored. To slow down abuse we keep a hash of the network address for a few minutes, not the address itself.

What we store if you order

When you continue to payment we store the finished JPEG, and a print sheet if the plan includes one, so the download link works after you close the tab. We also store your email, the document type, the plan, the amount, whether you asked for an expert re-check, and the payment status. Paddle.com processes the payment and handles payment customer service. We receive the payment status from Paddle. We do not see or store the full card number.

Retention and deletion

Stored photo files are deleted 30 days after the order is created. You can ask us to delete them sooner by emailing hello@get2x2.com. Phone handoff files are deleted within 15 minutes, or as soon as the computer downloads them. Order records such as email, amount, and status may be kept longer than the photo file so we can handle a refund or a tax question. When you ask for deletion, we delete the portrait files we still hold and remove the photo from the order. We tell you if a record has to stay for a legal or accounting reason.

Children

A parent or guardian may upload a child's photo for a passport or visa. Do that only if you have the authority to. The site is not directed at children as customers.

Cookies and analytics

The cookie banner stores one preference on your device. If you choose essential only, we do not load Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Microsoft Clarity. If you allow analytics, those scripts may set their own cookies and receive the page you visited. A purchase event, with the order total, is sent only after a successful payment and only if analytics was allowed.
