Rules
The passport portal compliance text asks for at least 600×600 pixels and at least 54 KB, colour, with the head 50–69% of the height and the eyes 56–69% from the bottom. The background is white or off-white. Expression is neutral, mouth closed, eyes open. Eyeglasses are no longer allowed.
A 2 MB limit is an app constant, so it is only partly confirmed. The print reference is 2×2 inches with a 25–35 mm head. The uploaded photo is printed on the passport. You still attend in person for biometrics.
